Well, it looks like we might be down to the one week countdown for the Canon EOS 50D. I have managed to get saved up and I will for sure be getting it the day I can find one around here. Ironically, I came up with a bunch of ideas for cool pictures at one time, but I want to save them for when I have the 50D, so I’m sitting here anxious to try them, but I still want to wait and do them next week. It’s annoying, but it just makes me that much more excited about the 50D. I’ll be getting it right when we start working on our next newspaper issue for school, so the timing couldn’t be better. My school’s homecoming game is next friday, so I’ll be able to cover that game with it, and then I’ll be going up to North Georgia the next two weekends after that, so I’ll certainly be racking up some early shots with it.
I’m thinking I’ll post some early impressions either late Monday or Tuesday (assuming it really does come out then and I can find one). Honestly it’ll probably be Tuesday, since I have to deal with the NHS induction that Monday (but hey, just something else I can break it in with XD). Then, after I’ve had it a week or two, I’ll post a more complete review. Of course,w ith my hectic schedule, this is all tenative, I’m not promising anything haha. I really will try to get a review for it up though.
Anyway, here’s to hoping Circuit City really has the right date up!
