Finally, I feel like I’m in the clear this year. Sure, I’ve got a few things to finish up, but for the most part I’m done, and quite relieved. I just got my yearbook today; that always seems to be one of those final “signs” or events that marks the close of another school year. I’d definitely say this has been my most hectic and stressful one so far, but then I think pretty much everybody says about junior year. I’m definitely looking forward to next year, though not as much as college.
I have an appointment Monday to get set-up for contacts. I must say I’m pretty excited. No more cleaning my glasses or being annoyed by them while I’m using my camera. No more having to be conscious about how I lay down with them on. Oddly enough I’m also looking forward to just being able to wear plain old sunglasses again.
I guess I’ll go start cleaning out my bookbag (yet another end-of-the-year marker). No sense in carrying around twenty pounds of stuff I don’t need for the last few days.
